My obsession with saltwater fly fishing began at an early age. Growing up in Miami, the gateway to the Florida Keys, it became pretty obvious that fishing was in my blood. I began flats fishing at the age of 7 with my father and grandfather. At the age of 10 I caught both my first bonefish and tarpon on fly. By then you could say it was all over (or just beginning).

I have invested all my spare time learning and honing my fly fishing schools. What posses a 100 pound tarpon to eat something the size of a quarter? What flats and troughs hold bonefish on falling water? These are the types of questions I wanted answers to.

Fast forward to today. You will find me guiding clients in tournaments and fishing throughout the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park. On my days off I’m out fun fishing and scouting new locations. I’m an active member of the Florida Keys Fishing Guides Association and also a vocal supporter of Now Or Neverglades and Captains for Clean Water – believing we need to return the natural southern flow of Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades.
